Miro is known as a whiteboard platform, offering a digital product often referred to simply as a “board.” Unlike Zoom and similar apps, which offer such technology as a secondary feature, Miro is entirely centered around this concept—so its tools are much more comprehensive and effective.
Because people can work on the same Miro board at the same time, even from different locations, it’s also referred to as an online collaboration platform. Everything on the board can be seen, edited, and contributed to simultaneously. No lesson in Lhexis is based solely on watching or listening — with Miro, the teacher and student truly work side by side.

As a result, the screen sharing feature often used in apps like Zoom (i.e., showing others what’s on your screen) becomes unnecessary when using Miro. That said, people still need to see and hear each other, so we can’t eliminate Zoom just yet. (GIF) Miro does support video calling, but it’s still in beta (under development).

Everything you need for online learning can be found on a Miro board. You can add an unlimited number of:
Documents like textbooks and exercises
Written notes
Images, videos, and links
Web content and interactive materials
Without this kind of interaction, repetitive tasks like printing or constantly exchanging homework—even digitally—can reduce the overall efficiency of learning. So, if you’re unsure what criteria to use when comparing online education services, the possibilities Miro offers might give you a strong reason on their own.
In Lhexis, students experience everything—from lessons and homework to materials and notes—on their Miro boards. Each board looks like a simple folder on the homepage, but when opened, it expands into a digital universe that can grow in every direction and zoom up to 400%.
For example, a 30-page document on the board might appear so small you don’t notice it at first — but when you zoom in, you can even read the text inside.

Each board created in Miro comes with a shareable link, and every student starting with Lhexis receives a personal Miro board made just for them. Only that student can access their board, and this is the first step in the one-on-one personalized service Lhexis offers. All the resources a student needs throughout their learning journey are added to their board, organized according to the Lhexis concept.
Having all lesson and homework materials collected on a student’s personal board — with access restricted to the teacher — creates an extremely focused and individualized learning environment. At the same time, it eliminates the need for physical books or documents. Since I’m a Miro Premium user, every Lhexis student can also use their board with premium features. Students have full editing access 24/7: they can use Miro’s AI tools freely, take notes, upload any visual or written content, and use all available tools.
The NGL Life series is a six-level comprehensive English education program and serves as the foundation for the Lhexis curriculum.
Textbooks
Workbooks
Extra grammar, vocabulary, and speaking exercises
Unit review tests
Answer keys
Listening files
Videos
Everything listed above belongs to just one level of the Life series and consists of hundreds of pages. But in Lhexis, this content is considered just a single resource. Other equally comprehensive series from well-known publishers like Oxford, Cambridge, and Pearson are also stored in a special archive created for Lhexis.
Throughout the course, this archive is enriched with:
YouTube videos
Interactive exercises
Useful websites and visual materials
Lhexis aims to build a personal library on each student’s board. The NGL Life series is only the first and foundational piece of that library.
