I was born in 1995 in the Seyhan district of Adana. Since April 2024, I've been living in Ortaca, Muğla, with my family and my cat, Sunny. I also have a sibling who, like me, is an English teacher.
I graduated in 2020 from İzmir University of Economics with a full scholarship in Public Relations and Advertising, a program taught entirely in English. Thanks to this program, I had the chance to improve my skills in using English creatively and effectively. Especially courses in copywriting and communication helped me go beyond simply learning the language—I started producing with it.
I began speaking English back in middle and high school. Like many in the millennial generation, I learned English through exposure—watching TV shows and movies, listening to music, and spending time online. During university, I started teaching private lessons and had my first experience abroad through student clubs. That journey began in Moscow and continued in 2018 with an Erasmus exchange in Slovenia. During that time, I had the opportunity to visit different European countries and experience new cultures.
When I returned to Turkey, I continued giving private lessons while occasionally traveling through Europe. After realizing how much I loved teaching, I earned my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate in 2021 and decided to pursue this career professionally. I worked for a year as a primary and middle school teacher at a private school in İzmir, then moved back to Adana, where I worked at several language schools and continued teaching online privately.
In 2023, I cut ties with schools entirely and shifted to full-time online teaching. After moving to Ortaca in 2024, I wanted to give my online lessons a more structured and personalized format. If online education means technology—and technology has no limits—then online learning shouldn’t just mean Zoom (I still use Zoom, but not alone 🤓). With this mindset, I began building my own educational concept: Lhexis.
My goal with Lhexis is to transform learning English from a school subject into an enjoyable, confidence-building activity where people truly enjoy expressing themselves.
